This kit comes ready-wrapped in recycled kraft paper and eco packaging. It takes very specific leather to make babies slippers. It needs to be very soft with a dull texture, that will not be slippery to walk in. We found just the leather! This leather is extremely soft and flexible and because of this, the slippers made don’t restrict the natural flexibility and movement of a child’s feet. All of the beautiful leather in these DIY Moccasin kits are offcuts collected from artisan upholsterers and furniture designers, based in East London. This slipper design is based on the toe of some of the moccasins that were designed and worn by the indigenous people of North America.
